Searing (moksa) is an Eastern medical method in which the acupuncture (trigeminal) point is exposed to heat. The effect is anti-inflammatory and general strengthening.
Pelyn (Artemisia v.) Ccigar is ignited and kept about 2 cm from the acupuncture point (or trigger point). It is heated until the patient experiences a strong thermal sensation. Then if the heat feels, the distance is increased by about 0.5 cm.
