Long-lasting eyebrow or lip makeup is done by tattooing - special paints are applied to the skin. After a while, makeup can start fading, losing its original color. If you decide you don't want permanent make-up, you can remove it with a laser.
How is this procedure performed?
The procedure is performed by the Q wave laser of the German manufacturer "Asclepion" - "STUDIO". This device works by pulsating extremely short but high-energy waves into a problematic location.
Studio Laser Advantages:
- The device is programmed to accurately determine the amount of pigment, so it is extremely accurate.
- Thanks to the advanced OPTIBEAM® technology, the laser beam is evenly distributed. This prevents the surrounding skin from being affected.
- The pulses of the Q-wave of the STUDIO laser are shorter than those of other similar lasers (operating range - nanosecond duration) and more powerful, so the total duration of treatment is reduced to 20%.
The length and intensity of the procedures are determined by the type of paint or mixture used for long-term make-up. Often, a combination of colors - green, blue, red and the like - is used to get the right color. The easiest thing is to remove the dark and pure pigment (without any other color impurities). What pigment or blend has been used for you is often known only during the laser procedure when the layers of paint are exposed. Therefore, the destruction of long-lasting make-up often changes after laser treatment. This also makes it impossible to determine in advance how accurately the procedures may be required in each case, as the different pigments disappear unevenly.
Before the procedure:
Do not burn in the sun for at least 4 weeks before the procedure, use a protective cream. No other special preparation is required for this procedure.
After the procedure:
Because the laser breaks down the pigment in your skin, your eyebrow hair will also light up. This is perfectly normal. This effect disappears when new hairs grow. By that time, they can be painted with a special pencil or paint. Further skin care after the procedure is recommended by your doctor.
Is this procedure painful?
The threshold for each person's pain is individual, making it difficult to answer unambiguously. Patients claim that they feel mild tingling during the procedure, feeling a "small needle". If necessary, the site to be treated can be anesthetized with topical, topical analgesic ointment.
Is it possible to eliminate long-term make-up of lips and eyelids?
So far, the permanent make-up removal procedure is only for the eyebrow area.
